Recycling Tips

Recycling is the process of acquisition of some of our waste and reuse it and again. Here are simple tips to help you start on the right track with the recycling of products:
1. Check with your local recycling center and see what they collect points.
2. Recycler some of the products by yourself.
3. Donate some of the elements that you want to get rid of.
4. Purchasing some nice sturdy canvas bags to take to the store with you when you shop for groceries.

Green Operating System?

Is there any connection between OS and global warming? Ooo...may be with the software to calculate the impact of desktop/laptop PC to our world. But must people use Mac OS X Leopard rather then Windows Vista. Is there any analysis from the Greenpeace which OS is friendlier to environment?

“All the Thinkpad X Series Notebooks are Energy Star 4.0 Qualified”. What this means? I just read short reviews Lenovo Thinkpad X61 series when found this statement. ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. Lesson to learn is that when ever you buy electronic product please make sure that the product have ENERGY STAR label.
